Info: We had a GREAT time at the ECLM. There were a variety of Club111 and LEO members there.

The first day we were treated to a Detailing Session by Ciro of CP Auto Detailing. We took the "Great Unwashed" Elise of Gregory Dick and proceeded to make it shine…at least one corner! After the session we took a trip to the in nearby Waterbury and learned all about timepieces. A truly informative tour!

On the return to the Motel for the Concours, we encountered a downpour. Oh well, the prizes were not for the most pristine car anyhoo. More like Dirtiest Floor, best bubbles in the body, that sort of thing. A fun change from the norm!.

That night at Dinner we were treated to a talk by Mike Fisher from Lotus Cars USA. We can't publicize the information on upcoming Lotus Eagle model that he talked about! You hadda be there. Seriously, lots of good info about the cars and how new-car warranties work.

The next morning Jamie of MM Turbos gave a lecture on Turbochargers. He brought along his intercooled Esprit V8, and some new and old Timexpo Museum LEO picnickers found a loophole in the "One-Glass-of-Beer per person" rule… The Jerrod Winery units plus the repair parts, for some really good hands-on information.

Then the group took off on its Spirited Drive to the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome. After some nifty backroad touring (along with some high-speed Interstate cruising) we got to see the Airshow and the old WWI era planes. Then back to the Crowne Plaza over all backroads, two hours of driving delight.

Monday was a relaxed day. We toured and sampled the "produce" from the Jerram Winery. Then the more adventurous traveled to Mohegan Sun for some games of chance.

Tuesday it was off to Lime Rock for the SCDA Track Day. Once again we drove the back roads to the track. As usual, Hunting Ridge Motorsports AKA Lotus of Greenwich was very gracious in providing refreshments as well as organizing the event. Then, it was helmets-on for a day of track action!

All in all, this year's ECLM was a wonderful four days. Hopefully it will be held again in the future. LEO was proud to help make the event a success.

Thanks to LEO members Russ Olesen, Sue Howard, David & Sue Teitelbaum, Raphael Garcia, Lee Weinstein, Steve & Chris Becker, Ed Reagan, and Atwell & Pat Haines for their contributions!
