The Vintage Weekend (and Lotus Car Corral) was a
big hit with LEO members who attended the festival.
Even with the short advance notice, six LEO
members attended (plus there were seven other Loti
bringing the total to 13).
There were two parade laps provided on the newlypaved
LRP racecourse. It was a calm procession in contrast to last year’s tear-ass
pace.
Lotus was represented in the Rolex Moments in Time with the Type 86 dual-chassis car that was never
raced.
The day ended with a few of the gang heading over to Ed Reagan's house for some chow. Ed
announced that he was going to the Lotus 60th anniversary celebration in the UK during September.
He was made to promise he would get some good pictures of the Evora with something next to it for
scale.
